Our verdict

The two giants of CRM, with very different entry points. HubSpot offers a free plan (2 users) and a promotional Starter at USD 7 per user per month; then Professional at USD 90 with a mandatory USD 1,500 onboarding fee and Enterprise at USD 150 with USD 3,500. Salesforce has no free plan: it runs from USD 25 (Starter Suite, the only tier with monthly billing) to USD 100, 175, 350, and 550 per user per month. In both, WhatsApp requires additional modules or third parties.

For small and mid-sized companies that value fast adoption, a friendly interface, and starting for free, HubSpot is the natural choice. Salesforce pays off in corporations with custom processes, dedicated admins, and a need for deep customization; there its ceiling is higher than HubSpot's, and so is its cost.
